Papers slowly being converted to pdf.

Hi, you can find all of the papers in the links on the right hand column. Nearly all of the A-Car and Corvette papers have been copied over in microsoft word or excel format. I am going to try to slowly transition over to a pdf format so you people that don’t have microsoft office can open them. This is going to take me quite a while to convert all of them. If you have a particular need eMail me and I will try to prioritize the transition. You can contact me at: JIML82@aol.com

If you see a link that is wrong or doesn’t provide the information you are looking for, please let me know at the above address. Thanks for your patience.

Is there a good way to do Q&A on this site, if In cant find an answer in any of Jim’s papers?

    Jim,
I would just like to say thanks. This is a truly valuable resource for the do it yourselfer. Having this info makes it a lot less daunting when it comes to steering repair.
Also, Steering Column Replacement Parts - Where to get replacement parts for standard and T&T columns (Rev 13AU05) in the corvette section, does not have a link attached to it. Just thought you would like to know.
    Thanks again,
    Scott

I think that the best place to do Q&As is on the Corvette, Chevelle, Camaro forums. That way we can get more input as well as distributing information to more people. I already search at least three forums a couple times a day and I am not particularly looking for more work.

    Scott,
Thanks for the observation. I am slowly getting all of the papers linked. My wife and I took a Cruise vacation a week ago and I fell further behind. I will link the Replacement Parts paper today.

Jim, your web site has really helped me in rebuilding my ‘ 69 vette t/t steering column. One question I have is, you stated to line up the two steering shafts by looking for two machined flats on the upper yoke. I cannot seen to find what you describe. What do I do now to make sure their correct for the cancelling cam. Thanks ever so much, your a lifesavor Barry Reid

    Jim,

I just located your site, it is a tremendous resource.

Thanks for all of you work in posting this data.

One question that I can’t find an answer for: For my 73 t&t, the metal ignition cover will not slide off. Is there a “trick”? I have removed everything up to that point, including the three screws & the lock cylinder, and then expected the cover to slide off. It does not budge. I need to replace the sector and ignition rack.

Please let me know if there is a preferred forum where you would rather have me post the question.

Thanks again for all of your effort,

    Rob

    Hello Jim,
I just got your site off of Chevelle Tech. I am trying to get info and pictures on the 67 chevelle steering and turn signal components. But when I click on your link just the first page shows and I get the massage ( unable to load graphics conversion filter ). I am trying to fix my turn signals. I can’t get them to cancel. And also my horns.
    Thank You
    John
